Motorcycling Canterbury Inc.
Motorcycling Canterbury Inc is a club dedicated to promoting road racing based at Ruapuna Park raceway.
Motorcycling Canterbury Inc. was formed in 1934, then known as the Canterbury Autocycle Club. In 1936 the club held the first New Zealand Grand Prix at Cust and has continued to do so until 1963, with the exception of the war years, when the club moved its base track to the purpose built track at Ruapuna Park.
The club has run the New Zealand Grand Prix in conjunction with the New Zealand national series to the present day at Ruapuna with great success for the riders, the club and spectators alike.
The club also runs a King of Ruapuna series over the year as a local championship for various classes of motorcycles in which riders from all over New Zealand compete.
